This barbecue was so good. Had a 2meat plate which also came with 2 sides. The brisket was very tender and the sausage had a ton of delicious Smokey flavor. The vibe was a fun hole in the wall and the servers were so kind.
The place was packed and I was surprised how fast they got through the line. Food was amazing and reasonable prices. I got a variety of things. Look forward to going back and trying more things on menu.
Got two of the 2 meat plate. Costed about 35 total. Food was great. Brisket and ribs were super juicy. The only thing was the chicken wasn’t really my cup of tea but still good and juicy. Lots of food for the price. I’d come back again. We got leg quarter chicken, brisket, ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and Cole slaw. My favorite were the ribs and brisket and baked beans. Nice cozy place with 4 tables to dine in too. Staff was very nice and courteous, brought the food out to us. They also have a small gambling place tucked in here
The best barbecue in Louisiana, and how many barbecue cafes will do your whole order over again if they mess your order up. But,Mr jack the owner will.make it right if you don't like the way the food taste are if they got your order wrong. That's why he is the best. He will make it right for you. He is awesome . Can't review anything else as I've never actually been here BUT my husband works at Certainteed occasionally and always talks about the tamales here. He finally brought me some home today and OH MY WORD THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS!!!!! 10/10 yall!
This little place has the biggest heart. A great place for a Bar B Q plate and a cold drink. Small and cozy, with a big soul. One of my favorite places for lunch!
Wow! I have wanted to try out Jack's for years, but I was rarely on this side of town. I'm now working in the area and I should not have waited soooo long! Now, I only had the turkey sandwich (deli sliced style), but it was so good. You can taste the smoked flavors coming through. I also had a side of fries that were the thick cut and crispy. Oh, the price can't be beat. Under 10 for it all. Can't wait to go back!
